Risparmiare batteria sull'Acer Liquid (Android 1.6 Donut)


Per salvare la batteria, arrivare a fine giornata, e riuscire anche a far metà di quella successiva è necessario scaricare sostanzialmente 3 programmi dal market, due di questi a pagamento, uno gratuito.

WiSync Plus (importante che sia la versione plus e non la base) costa circa 4$
Advanced Task Killer (non la versione gratuita) 5$ mi pare

Se nel terminale noi abilitiamo la connessione dati, questa resterà sempre accesa... pur non scambiando dati (freccette che diventano bianche) sarà sempre attiva per garantire il push su GMail e il sync (se attivo) con un notevole utilizzo della batteria.

1) Innanzitutto installiamo advanced task killer. Rispetto alla versione gratuita ci consente di programmare un autokill, ogni mezz'ora (limite minimo) il programma automaticamente chiuderà tutte le applicazioni indesiderate in background. In questo modo è possibile ridurre il consumo energetico da parte del processore,etc Si può impostare l'autokill su 3 livelli, personalmente ho scelto safe.

2) Installare WiSync plus. Questo programma, veramente completo, consente di schedulare la connessione dati, wifi e i sync con google.

avviamo il programma, tasto menu e premiamo "schedule":

Nome (nome a caso)

ora inizio (12:01 m) che sarebbero le 00.01
ora fine 11:59 pm
casella for (2 mins)
casella every (30 mins)

Clicchiamo su Enable APN, disable APN (devono essere entrambi verdi) e su force sync.
Premere enable sul profilo appena creato.

In questo modo il cellulare accenderà la rete dati per due minuti ogni 30 e in quei 2 minuti aggiornerà mail, contatti e calendario da google. (!! IMPORTANTE: nelle impostazioni del telefono bisogna abilitare background data e sincronizzazione automatica.

A questo punto sempre tasto menu, preferences. Abilitare ovviamente wysinc:
notifications : io le ho tolte tutte
on wifi connection: tutto su on
force syncro: decidete cosa sincronizzare
onwifi disc: tutto su off
on apn connection : io ho su off perchè è già impostato il force al sync nel profilo schedulato
when display turns on : tutto su off
when display turns off: tutto su off
whe charging begins ho messo la spunta a Enable APN, sync e force sync
when charging ends : tutto su off
when battery critical: io ho messo disable sync, ma come per il resto, ognuno è libero di decidere
global settings : messo la spunta su no roam apn request e roaming protection

In questa maniera il cellulare si connetterà per 2 minuti ogni 30 (per i restanti 28 gli apn saranno disabilitati) e in quei 2 minuti forzerà il sync e si aggiornerà.

Il programma include dei collegamenti per la home "toogle apn " e "toogle wifi", nel caso ci dovesse servire la linea per un qualche motivo mentre è disabilitata dal profilo creato; premendo uno di questi tasti la attiveremo.

é disponibile un collegamento al browser che appena premuto attiva gli apn, affinchè non serva prima attivarli tramite "toogle apn" e poi avviarlo..

Con questi settaggi è possibile fare quasi due giorni con una carica sola (acer liquid).

Il problema deriva dal fatto che, mentre Gmail è in push e quindi controlla SEMPRE la mail, le mail presenti nel programma mail di android possono essere settate al minimo con una verifica ogni 5 minuti. Questo ci costringerebbe a impostare in WiSync un lasso di tempo di "apertura" degli apn di 10 minuti, invece di 2.. con una grossa perdita!


Qua interviene il programma k9 mail che è praticamente identico al sw di android ma con qualche impostazione in più... ci consente infatti di settare l'aggiornamento delle mail ogni minuto. (va messo in ignore list sui task killer).. in questo modo tutta la nostra posta sarà controllata ogni mezz'ora così come il sync con google =)

Potremo comunque connetterci a internet premendo il tasto in home "toogle apn" o "wifi" se ci dovesse servire FB o qualche altra applicazione! (per il browser, come ho già scritto; c'è un tasto apposta che avvia il browser e contemporaneamente gli apn)

Download Portable Apps (HERE) Platform only, run it and select your SD card drive.

After installing go here and download the applications that you need, just run the files and install them on your SD card.


Now you can create a link on your desktop to portable apps platform ;)

XP Blue theme





If you want to change your default windows XP theme with a new one, try this.

It's an official theme, so it doesn't require any other program to work ;)

Download the file, run it and select the theme the list (on the desktop, right click-> properties -> themes).

Turn OFF Windows XP indexing



Go to "My computer", right-click on C:\ unit and choose properties, uncheck "allow indexing service to..". It will take some time and, if some files are "locked", just click on ignore and continue with process.


After its finished press start, run and type services.msc; search indexing services, double click on it and choose disable from the dropdown window.
